I was soon compelled to donate a piece to further the cause but wasn't sure where to start. Lo and behold, the typically elusive Muse stopped by for a visit to assist! Isn't it amazing how you can have coils of wire and a stash of beads and never hear any of them speak to you till the Muse pops by?! Well, it wasn't long till I there were whispers then shouts from my wire and bead corner. Before too long I was surrounded by tools, some chunky turquoise colored magnesite, big link copper chain and a couple of spools of copper wire and copper findings and was well on my way of working on a new adventure!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous set! I love anything in turquois colors - and it's beautiful with the copper! Good job, Kat (and muse, too)!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Ladies! I really enjoyed that adventure. Hope whoever gets it enjoys it. Should last them for MANY years to come!
ReplyDeleteI am the Director of TSHA and am thrilled it is coming our way. I wish you could be here as well, but no worries I certainly will be fighting for the bid on this beautiful set. From the staff, board and consumers we say thanks. Rene' Ryan
ReplyDeleteHello, Rene'! So glad to hear from you! I understand the piece was delivered today...I can't wait to hear how the bidding goes!
ReplyDeleteHi! I also work at TSHA and saw this beautiful piece in person today as I was helping put minimum bids on items. We can't tell you how excited we are to have a donation all the way from Florida! Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity.

Hello, Diana! I am just glad I was able to contribute! It was truly Divine intervention that I even knew about it! My cousin, Pamela, introduced me to Papa Roger on Facebook and I noticed his post about the auction...I asked about it and it was all history from there! The fact that I was able to get a piece together so quickly was also of Divine nature...That is a new design for me but it just came right together!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kat - it's been a while since I've visited the sites the sites I follow - as always, your work is amazing. I love your work and that you are always willing to give back. That's what it's all about. Blessings. Anita
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anita! Always good to hear from you! Sorry about the delay in responding...I've been busy -- creating! Hope you've had a great summer and have been blissfully creating!
